What to do if you only have one photo ID.

Find out what other acceptable documents can be used to complete your compliance process.

USPS regulations allow other types of ID documents for the second ID verification of the compliance process, in case you only have only one photo ID. Find below the acceptable documents:

  • Current Lease

  • Mortgage or Deed of Trust

  • Home or Vehicle Insurance Policy

  • Vehicle Registration Card

There are two ways you can submit this to your operator.

Submit the document for verification through PilotoMail.


To submit another type of ID document for your second ID verification:

  1. Log in to your mailbox.

  2. Click Finish Compliance.

  3. Go to Identification 2 and click Verify ID. Then click Verify ID once again.

  4. Select the document you want to upload.

  5. Upload the document in the Upload File box.

  6. Click Submit for Verification.

  7. Wait for your operator to approve it.

  8. After approval, log back into your mailbox and click Finish Compliance.

  9. The next step is to review your 1583 form and click Next.

  10. Now, add your signature on the box provided under Sign Here, then click Sign and Submit.

Provide your operator with your ID documentation for them to upload.


You can give your operator your preferred ID documentation for them to upload for you.

  1. Provide your operator with the ID documentation.

  2. They will verify the document and upload it to the platform.

  3. Now you can go log back into your mailbox and click Finish Compliance.

  4. The next step is to review your 1583 form and click Next.

  5. Now, add your signature on the box provided under Sign Here, then click Sign and Submit.
