Discover how to use PilotoMail’s enhanced sidebar navigation to manage locations, mail, compliance, and more with ease.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

We enhanced the sidebar navigation to improve how you move between locations and manage key areas of your mail operations. Here’s how to get the most out of it:

Accessing the Sidebar Navigation

The navigation bar appears on the left side of the screen, just like before—but with updated structure and clarity.

You’ll find:

  • The current location name at the top

  • Quick access to all main sections: Mail, Requests, Mailboxes, Renters, Invoices, Compliance, Settings, and Support

  • Organized subsections, more on this below

Each main section includes sub-navigation links that help you focus on specific tasks:

  • Unassigned – Mail that hasn’t been assigned to a mailbox yet

  • Assigned – Mail that has already been assigned

  • All Mail – Full view of mail for the selected space

Requests

  • Pending – Mail service requests that still need action

  • Completed – Requests that have already been fulfilled

Mailboxes

  • Active – Currently active mailboxes

  • Cancelled – Mailboxes that have been cancelled

  • All Mailboxes – Complete list regardless of status

Invoices

  • Paid – Successfully completed payments

  • Failed – Invoices with failed payment attempts

  • All Invoices – Full invoice history for the space

Switching Between Locations (Previously Spaces)

  1. Click the location name at the very top of the sidebar.

  2. A dropdown will open showing all locations you have access to.

  3. Each entry shows the name of the space and how many mailboxes it contains.

  4. Click any location to instantly switch — your view will refresh to show mail for that location.

Accessing the "Manage Locations" Screen

  2. Click "Manage Spaces".

  3. This opens the Space Settings screen.

In the settings, you can:
