PilotoMail allows you to customize the Private Mailbox (PMB) number sequence you want the system to follow when automatically assigning PMB numbers to your mailboxes. Find below which sequences you can use and how they work.
Alphanumeric
The alphanumeric sequence is the default setting used in PilotoMail. An alphanumeric sequence assigns PMB numbers based on the starting letter of the mailbox name. Each letter has a prefix assigned that will determine the PMB number. For example, the prefix for the letter A is 01, which means that the first mailbox created with the letter A will have the PMB number 0101.
To enable:
On the side menu, go to Settings.
In the General Tab, scroll to where it says PMB Format
Select the Alphanumeric option.
Sequential
The sequential setting lets operators choose a range or starting number for their PMB number assignment sequence. For example, if you want your mailboxes to be assigned from 200-400 or if you want your mailboxes to start from 500 and up.
To enable:
On the side menu, go to Settings.
In the General Tab, scroll to where it says PMB Format
Select the Sequential option.
Where it says Generate PMB Numbers From, choose either a range or a starting number.
