Assign Mail

Learn how to allot unassigned mail directly from your app or desktop.

Once you have uploaded your incoming mail to PilotoMail, the next step is to assign each piece to its renter. Here's a step-by-step on how to allot unassigned mail either from your PilotoMail Ops app or desktop.

Assigning Mail


From the app:

  1. Mark the ☑︎ checkbox icon below the mailpiece to assign.

  2. Select multiple and assign them in bulk.

  3. Tap on the Assign Selected Mail button at the top.

  4. Enter the company name or PMB on the search bar, or scroll to find the mailbox.

  5. Mark the ☑︎ checkbox icon.

  6. Tap on Assign Mail to PMB and you are set.

From the desktop web app:

  1. On your dashboard, click on Mail located on the sidebar.

  2. Click Unassigned to filter mail that has not been assigned.

  3. Mark the ☑︎ box icon next to the mail ID.

  4. Or click multiple to assign in bulk to one mailbox.

  5. Click the corresponding 📫 mailbox icon.

  6. Type the company name or PMB.

  7. Select the mailbox name to assign.

  8. From the dropdown menu, select the type of mail.

You can also assign from the mailpiece's profile.

  1. Select the mail ID.

  2. Click the 𐄛 three-dot icon at the top.

  3. Click Assign.

📌 Note: If a mailbox is not showing up to assign the mailpiece, the mailbox may have been canceled or their address is located in another space.

🎯 Troubleshoot: You can move mail to another space if you uploaded mail to the wrong space.
