What are Additional Charges?

Mail handling services and action requests that are not complimentary in the selected package offered by an operator.

Updated over 2 years ago

Each month, a mailbox can have a specific amount of requests included within your subscription. When a mailbox renter runs out of complimentary action requests, an operator starts charging a fee for each request made outside of the renter's mailbox plan. These can range in price and vary depending on the action request.

๐Ÿง  A mailbox manager should check in with their mail operator to learn more about the price of action requests and other mail handling charges.

Examples of additional charges

  • Action Requests Handling Fees: these include Open & Scan, Shred, Recycle, etc.

  • Forward Action Requests: These fees include the postage price and can vary for each size and carrier selected.

  • Mailbox Manager and Recipient Seat Fee: With your selected plan there are seats included (these are the number of people authorized to log in and access your mailbox account) if you want more space it will be an extra fee.

๐Ÿ’ก Additional Charges are calculated at the end of every month and invoiced at the beginning of the next month or billing cycle. The action requests that were not covered by a renter's plan will accumulate for the remaining time of the month and billed for them at the beginning of the next cycle.
