Configure Storage Fees

Set up correspondence and package storage thresholds and fees for your mailboxes

Important: Storage fee changes take effect in the next billing cycle. Fees apply separately to correspondence and packages.

Steps to Configure Storage Fees

Step 1: Navigate to Settings

Log in to your PilotoMail operator dashboard and open the main navigation menu.

  • Click Settings

  • Select Offering

  • Choose the Plan you want to configure

Step 2: Configure Correspondence Storage Fees

Set up the threshold and monthly fee for regular mail storage.

  • Correspondence Threshold: Enter the number of correspondence pieces allowed per month (for example, 50)

  • Correspondence Storage Fee: Enter the monthly charge when the threshold is exceeded (for example, $25)

Step 3: Configure Package Storage Fees

Set up the threshold and monthly fee for package storage. Packages typically have lower thresholds and higher fees because they require more physical space in your mailroom.

  • Package Threshold: Enter the number of packages allowed per month (for example, 10)

  • Package Storage Fee: Enter the monthly charge when the threshold is exceeded (for example, $50)

Step 4: Click "Save"

Review your settings to ensure everything is correct, then click the Save button to apply the changes.


What Changes in the Platform

  • The correspondence and package thresholds are updated for the selected plan

  • Storage fees will be applied to members' invoices when they exceed the limits

  • The new storage fee structure takes effect in the next billing cycle

  • Members can view their storage usage and applicable fees in their mailbox
