Integrating Stripe with PilotoMail

Make billing to your renters a more seamless process.

If you use Stripe for your membership billing process, you can also do so for PilotoMail billing. This step-by-step article will guide you through the Stripe integration with PilotoMail.

  1. On the sidebar menu, go to Settings.

  2. Go to Integrations in the top tab menu.

  3. Go to the Stripe box, and click on the Manage icon located at the bottom-right corner.

  4. Fill out the requested information:

    • Account ID:

      • Log in to your Stripe account.

      • On the top-right corner click on the Settings icon.

      • Go to Business Settings section of the page, then in Your Business go to Account Details.

      • In the right corner of Account Settings, click on the Account ID, that starts with "accc...", to copy.

    • Public ID:

      • Log in to your Stripe account.

      • On the top-right corner click where it says Developers, then on the side menu click API Keys.

      • Copy the Publishable Key and paste it into PilotoMail in Public ID.

    • Secret Key:

      • Log in to your Stripe account.

      • On the top-right corner click where it says Developers, then on the side menu click API Keys.

      • Locate the restricted keys section and click create a new restricted key.

      • Add a name for the restricted key.

      • Set the write permission for the following resources:

        • Charges

        • Customers

        • Payment Methods

        • Payment Intents

        • Setup Intents

        • Sources

        • Tokens

      • Scroll to the bottom and click create the key.

      • Locate your new key and click reveal the key.

      • Copy the Secret Key and paste it into PilotoMail in Secret ID.

  5. Check the Bill mailbox renters with Stripe? box.

  6. Click Save Changes.

πŸ“Œ Note: When renters log in to their PilotoMail accounts, the system will ask them to put in their credit card information. We recommend you send them an email beforehand notifying them about this.
