A private mailbox includes a personal number for a mail operator to identify the mailbox. It's called a private mailbox number, or <a href="https://support.pilotomailapp.com/en/articles/5724985-what-is-a-private-mailbox-number-pmb">PMB</a>.

The U.S. Postal Service allows PMB mailbox customers to use "PMB" as the box number designator.
